04/07/2023 M. Head of the Department of "General History and Museum Affairs" of the Auezov Educational Institution, Candidate of History, Associate Professor G.K. Otarbaeva and senior lecturer E.D. Pazilov conducted career guidance work in colleges located in Shymkent.
These teachers specially visited the Shymkent Multidisciplinary College, the Ethno-Pedagogical College, the Shymkent Higher Pedagogical College and gave information about the specialties of the university and the department. The meeting with college graduates was organized in the format of an open conversation, during the event videos introducing professions were shown, and advertising booklets were distributed. At the end of the meeting, answers were given to the questions raised by the graduates.

As part of the program for attracting foreign scientists to teaching positions in the Ministry of Education and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Professor of the University of Kutahya Dumlupinar (Turkey) Vezhihi Sefa Fuat Hekimoglu gave lectures on the topic: “Methodology of teaching history” to students of the educational program “History” of the department “ General history and museum work.” The lecture discussed theoretical and practical methods of teaching history, as well as information about the effective use of time. Feedback was established with students.

Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after Boris Yeltsin

The International History School started in Bishkek: “Common history as a resource for the joint development of Russia and the CIS countries”

On October 9-16, 2023, the International Historical School “Common History as a Resource for the Joint Development of Russia and the Member Countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States” will be held at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after B. Yeltsin.

Students of our university S.K. Piralieva, M.K. Elemes are taking part in it. An intensive educational program, round tables and discussions with leading Russian and Kyrgyz scientists are planned within the school.

The International Historical School also includes students from Russia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Indonesia, Hungary, Greece, Georgia, Italy, Montenegro, Bulgaria, Sweden, Serbia, Cuba, North Korea and North Macedonia.
