A meeting was held at M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University with a delegation from the Republic of Korea headed by Consul General Ha Tae Wuk

On November 13, 2025, M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University hosted a meeting with a delegation from the Republic of Korea, led by the Consul General in Almaty — Mr. Ha Tae Wuk.
The purpose of the visit was to strengthen cooperation in the fields of education, science, and culture, as well as to discuss new avenues for collaboration with Korean universities.
Special attention was paid to the activities of the King Sejong Institute, established at M. Auezov SKU in 2018. This project has become an important platform for promoting the Korean language and culture, as well as for strengthening academic ties between Kazakhstan and Korea.
Сonsul General highlighted the high level of student training and expressed his readiness to further support the development of the partnership. The university leadership emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation with Korean universities known for their innovative educational practices.
The meeting took place in a warm and constructive atmosphere. Both sides expressed confidence in the successful implementation of new joint initiatives.
