The regular meeting of the Academic Council was held

A regular meeting of the Academic Council was held at our university under the chairmanship of the Rector, Darhan Ahmed-Zaki. Council members, heads of structural divisions and teaching staff attended the meeting.
Prior to the meeting, Darhan Zhumakhanovich officially presented certificates to scholars who had been awarded the academic title of "Associate Professor", as well as departmental awards to faculty members and diplomas to students who had won scientific and creative competitions at national and international levels.
After that, reports were presented on the main agenda items. In her report on "The activities and development prospects of the branch of NJSC "M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University in Shyrshyk City (Republic of Uzbekistan)," branch director Dariya Perneshevna Kozhamzharova spoke about the measures taken to ensure the branch's effective operation and outlined its future strategic objectives.
The Director of the Institute of Postgraduate Education, Gulmira Isatayevna Yelibayeva, proposed the approval of dissertation topics and academic supervisors for Master's students, as well as scientific supervisors for PhD students.
The meeting also addressed a number of important issues, including changes to the Academic Council's composition, granting tuition fee discounts to students for the current academic year, nominating faculty members for the academic title of 'Associate Professor (Docent)', publishing monographs, textbooks and teaching materials, funding a start-up project competition for undergraduate and postgraduate students, establishing a dissertation council and other key matters.
