«Zhas Maman – 2025»: More Than Just a Job Fair — A Real Opportunity to Find Your Future Job

Today, M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University successfully hosted the 'Zhas Maman – 2025' job fair. The event brought together over 150 organisations from the region, including companies with established partnerships, major industrial enterprises, schools, colleges, Shymkent City Akimat departments, prosecutor's offices in Shymkent and the Turkistan region, public service centres, cultural institutions and city libraries.
In his opening speech, the university's board member and vice-rector for academic affairs, Ernar Imangaliyev, emphasised that this traditional job fair has become a productive platform for facilitating graduate employment and helping students take their first steps towards a successful career. Ernar Imangaliyev also presented letters of appreciation to honoured guests and distinguished alumni who have contributed to the university's development. Among them were:
Police Lieutenant Colonel Darkhan Ziyaev, Deputy Head of the Criminal Police Department of the Turkistan Region; Kenzhetai Mamytov, Chief Technologist for New Projects at Shymkent Chemical Company LLP;
Marat Otemisov, Director of Bereke Bank; Rysbek Rakhmetov, Director of Freedom Bank Kazakhstan JSC; Ermek Kaldygulov, Director of the Shymkent Production Branch of QazaqGaz Aimaq JSC;
Gulzhan Verotskaya, Director of the REFRAME Centre for Personal Development; Aibek Kabyilbekov, Production Manager at KazFerroGroup LLP.
In the 2024–25 academic year, 4,675 students will graduate from Auezov University. Many of them had the opportunity to connect with potential employers at the fair and submit their CVs on the spot.
As part of the event, the Auezov University Alumni Association held a free lottery for participants. Winners received prizes, and the fair concluded with a vibrant concert performed by talented students.
