"THE GLORY OF HEROES IS ETERNAL" HOSTED
The M. Auezov Higher Educational Institution organized a festive event entitled "The Glory of Heroics is Eternal" on the occasion of "May 7 - Defenders of the Fatherland" Day and the "80th Anniversary of the Great Victory". The celebration was attended by the teaching staff, veterans, guests and students.
The event opened with a staged performance of "Museum Night" by the talented youth of the "Duman" Student and Folk Theater. In his festive greetings, the Chairman of the Board of the University - Rector Ahmed-Zaki Darkhan Zhumakanovich said that a special project "80 days - 80 good deeds" has been launched at the educational institution to revive our great history.
- The holiday, which gives the generation a sense of patriotism, awakens the spirit and gives strength, is of particular importance for our nation. Our people made an immeasurable contribution to the Great Victory, showed a bright example of heroism and selflessness in difficult times. I believe that all this is due to the steadfastness and courage of our heroic ancestors.
We bow our heads before all our brothers who fought for the Motherland and returned safely from the bloody front! No matter how many years pass, each of our heroes who died bravely in this war will take its place in history. We, the descendants of veterans of the Great Patriotic War, will never extinguish the flame of victory and will always keep those who fought for the Motherland in our hearts!
Our evening today is also aimed at paying tribute to the spirit of our brave ancestors who showed a courageous example of heroism and courage in the Great Patriotic War. May the event be memorable! Happy Victory Day to all of you!, - said Darkhan Zhumakanuly in his congratulatory speech.
Darkhan Zhumakanuly congratulated a number of professors and teachers of the Military Department for their outstanding work and awarded them with Certificates of Honor and Letters of Appreciation.
Aidos Toishibekov, Senior Investigator of the 2nd Investigation Department of the Economic Investigation Department for the city of Shymkent, Major of the Economic Investigation Service, spoke about the heroism of our ancestors and expressed his congratulations.
The festive evening was followed by a concert program prepared by artists from the Center for Creative Professions.
