Visit of the Cultural and Cooperation Advisor of the French Embassy to M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University

On November 24, 2025, M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University officially hosted the new Cultural and Cooperation Advisor of the French Embassy, Sébastien de Courtois, and François Monegé, Director of the French Alliance in Almaty and Coordinator of the FA network in Central Asia.
During the meeting, the French side was presented with information about the university’s international projects, its scientific potential, and key areas of Franco-Kazakh cooperation. Guests were also shown a presentation titled “Université du Sud-Kazakhstan portant le nom de M. Auezov”, highlighting the achievements and strategic priorities of SKU.
Special attention was given to expanding joint initiatives with the French Alliance. The visit concluded with a tour of the French Alliance, where both parties confirmed their interest in further deepening the partnership and developing new joint projects.
