The Interfaculty Spartakiad has begun among first- to fourth-year students

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, an interfaculty Spartakiad among first to fourth year students has started at M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Vice-Rector for Public Relations and Culture, Sadybek Beysenbayev, and the Vice-Rector for Social and Educational Affairs, Gani Besbayev. Both speakers wished the participants success and emphasised the importance of sport in fostering unity, responsibility and a healthy lifestyle among young people.
The Spartakiad programme includes men's and women's volleyball, mini-football, tug-of-war, togyzqumalaq, chess and table tennis competitions.
