- Hits: 27
The Youth Alley at M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University was filled with a special atmosphere today as the university’s traditional 'Organisations Fair' took place. Organised by the University Youth Centre, the event brought together the most active, talented and creative students. The Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Yernar Imangaliyev, visited the fair, learned about the work of the student organisations, and spoke with the participants in a casual and friendly manner.
During the event, Yernar Imangaliyev and the invited guests — Akbota Bicozhakyzy, Head of the Department for Internal Policy and Youth Affairs in Shymkent; Aruzhan Alzhan, Head of the City Youth Resource Centre; and Bekzat Tolebai, Chairman of the city branch of the 'Zhaslar Rukhy' youth wing of the 'Amanat' party — presented certificates of appreciation and memorable gifts to the winners of the 'Auezov Stars' project and other distinguished students. The event was also supported by Vizit, the company which provided additional prizes for the students.
The fair's main goal was to introduce first-year students to the university's opportunities and encourage them to play an active role in student life. Participants could choose from clubs and organisations according to their interests, ranging from creative and scientific to athletic and intellectual. Currently, ten different student organisations operate within the University Youth Centre.
The celebration concluded with music and modern dance performances, inspiring and uplifting the students.
