On September 16, 2025, M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University welcomed a delegation from Shunan University (Japan) led by Professors Katsutoshi Umeda and Kotaro Wakino. During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation in science, education, and academic mobility, with a particular focus on developing exchange programs for students and faculty, as well as implementing joint research projects.

As part of the visit, the guests were introduced to the university’s activities and visited the “Densaulyk” sports complex. The meeting highlighted Auezov University’s commitment to expanding international partnerships and strengthening ties with leading foreign universities, opening new horizons for intercultural dialogue and joint initiatives.
