Auezov University representatives visited the scientific and laboratory infrastructure at Xinjiang University

As part of the official visit to the People's Republic of China, the delegation of M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University visited Xinjiang University and toured key research facilities at the Boda Campus.
During the visit, the delegation was introduced to the university’s advanced infrastructure and innovative academic environment. The group visited:The Multilingual Laboratory of the Faculty of Computer Science and Technology, The Robotics Laboratory, The Intelligent Manufacturing Laboratory, The Educational and Research Laboratory of the Institute of Chemical Technology, As well as several other cutting-edge research centers.
The highlight of the visit was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University and Xinjiang University. The agreement sets the stage for expanding academic collaboration, launching joint educational programs, promoting student and faculty mobility, and developing cooperative scientific research initiatives.
As part of this visit, an agreement was also signed with North China Electric Power University to implement a dual-degree program. This strategic step aims to train highly qualifield engineering professionals and promote international standarts in higher education.
This partnership marks a significant step in strengthening ties between the academic communities of Kazakhstan and China and contributes to the broader goals of the «Belt and Road» initiative.
