The university held the first meeting of the Academic Council for the new academic year. The Chairman of the Board, the Rector and Chair of the Academic Council, Darkhan Ahmed-Zaki, welcomed the university’s staff to the new academic year and set out the key objectives and priorities for the year ahead. Darkhan Zhumakanovich announced that the University of Arizona's branch at M. Auezov University is almost finished.

During the meeting, the agenda items were reviewed and the plans for the new academic year were approved.

In addition, during a formal ceremony, certificates were awarded to scholars who received the titles of Professor and Associate Professor (Docent) during the 2024–25 academic year.
