Knowledge day – day of peace!

The College of M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University celebrated Knowledge Day. At the themed event, "Knowledge Day – Day of Peace", the Vice-Rector for Social and Educational Affairs, Gani Besbayev, along with the college administration and faculty, congratulated the first-year students and wished them success as they began their studies. The students were introduced to the college's history and values, as well as the opportunities offered by the university.
Gani Abzelbekuly presented awards to college faculty members who distinguished themselves in international and national competitions and made a significant contribution to the education and upbringing of the younger generation. They were presented with First-Degree Diplomas and Certificates of Honour, signed by Darhan Ahmed-Zaki, the university's Chairman of the Board and Rector.
The celebration continued with a concert programme prepared by the students. The atmosphere made the freshmen feel more confident and ease into their new environment.
It should be noted that around 450 students were admitted to the college in the 2025–2026 academic year. Currently, more than 1,500 students are enrolled across 15 specialties and 16 qualifications.
