This is Kanysh Imantaiuly Satpayev, the first president of the Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR. He devoted his whole life to science and its development in his native republic. On the occasion of his birthday, Kazakhstan celebrates the Day of Scientists. Kanysh Imantaiuly was not only the first president of the Kazakh Academy of Sciences, but also its founder, he achieved the development of science by creating branches of the USSR Academy of Sciences and research institutes in Kazakhstan, and as a result founded the Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR.

Today, April 12, a solemn event dedicated to the "Day of Science Workers of the Republic of Kazakhstan" was held in the assembly hall of our university. As part of the event, 21 researchers were awarded a "Certificate of Honor", 23 employees - a "Letter of Thanks", and 20 of our researchers were awarded a letter of thanks from the "Amanat" party for high achievements in scientific activities in 2022. The concert program in honor of our scientists continued.
