A solemn meeting on the Day of Science Workers organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held in the capital. The event was attended by more than 350 invited guests.

Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek congratulated the participants of the event on this significant date.

"The Ministry, in broad cooperation with the scientific and expert community, is developing a draft of a new Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Science and Technology Policy". Measures are being taken to digitalize science, a unified information system "Science of Kazakhstan" is being developed. The Ministry has a clear vision of the ways of development of Kazakhstan's science in accordance with the tasks set in the Address of the Head of State and in the Election program," the Minister said.

For his contribution to the development of national science and higher education, the Minister presented a number of leading scientists with the departmental award "Gylymdy damytuga sinirgen enbegi ushin".
