Today, on April 6, 2023 the grand opening of the «Decade of Science» dedicated to the Day of Science Workers of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place at the South Kazakhstan University named after M.Auezov. Chairman of the Board – Rector of our university Kozhamzharova Daria Perneshovna opened the event and congratulated all researchers on this significant day. Daria Perneshovna noted that more than 1300 employees are engaged in scientific and pedagogical activities at the university and according to the results of the last year, 50 research projects worth over 540 million tenge were implemented.

• As part of the opening of the «Decade of Science», an exhibition of scientific projects of scientists of the university «SCIENCE TIME» was held, where scientists had the opportunity to talk about their work on the introduction of innovations, copyright patents and commercialization of scientific projects. Also, at the same time, Pupils of schools from Shymkent showed their own best 50 projects which won the Republican contest of scientific papers
• The "Decades of Science" program, which will be held at the university from April 6 to 17, 2023, provides for a number of seminars, conferences, round tables, trainings, guest lectures and other events.
• The Day of Science Workers is a celebration of people who have devoted their lives to scientific research, who believe in the power of scientific thought and strive for scientific discoveries.
• Currently, a high level of science and education in the country is the key to technological and economic growth, so investments in this area are important for the further development of the state. In order to make the country a technological leader, it is necessary to conduct comprehensive work on the development of science, and it is such scientific events that create prerequisites for scientific breakthroughs and discoveries, inspiring young people to engage in scientific activities.
