On August 24, 2022, within the framework of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan, a delegation of  M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University headed by the Chairman of the Board - Rector Kozhamzharova Darya visited Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry (Baku)  in order to  discuss issues on the development of further cooperation.

During the visit, the delegation of  M. Auezov SKU met with the rector of  Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry Mustafa Babanli, also got acquainted with the history and  activity  of the university. The meeting discussed the development of academic mobility for  students, involvement of foreign scientists in joint scientific activities, development of  joint educational programs and research projects in relevant areas of research.

Following the meeting, a solemn signing of the Memorandum took place between M.Auezov South Kazakhstan university and Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry. In accordance with the signed Memorandum, the parties intend to develop cooperation in the field of experience exchange, scientific and educational cooperation and participation in joint research projects.
