The sphere of professional activity is enterprises for the production of organic substances, for the processing of oil, gas, coal and polymers, elastomers, paint and varnish materials, research and design industry institutes, higher educational institutions.

Learning outcomes

LO1. Effectively apply the achievements of science and education in the planning and execution of scientific and pedagogical work, formulating the results of scientific research in the style of academic writing.

LO2. To design and implement a research process using modern methods, knowledge in the field of modeling, forecasting processes for further transformation of scientific results into innovative technologies.

LO3. To manage research and development work on the creation of rubbers with special properties, make professional decisions of uncertainty and risk

LO4. To contribute with their own original research to the expansion of the boundaries of the scientific field of complex processing of hydrocarbon raw materials.

LO5. To introduce high-tech methods for the production and processing of polymers, alternative options for the modernization and reconstruction of existing plants providing output that meets environmental quality standards.

LO6. To carry out interdisciplinary research in the field of creating competitive products with unique consumer properties.

LO7. To offer alternative, technical, technologically safe solutions in petrochemistry.

LO8. To develop economically accessible and technically feasible technologies for the involvement of petrochemical production waste in resource turnover.

LO9. Possess the skills of leadership management and team management, showing tolerance and respect for others and carry out production or applied activities in an international environment.
