According to the educational program, the Department of Architecture conducts practical training for students of 1-5 courses.
- In the first year, students undergo a training (planer) practice where they draw city parks.
- In the second year, students undergo measurement practice where they measure and draw architectural monuments.
- In the third year, students undergo their first production internship where they get acquainted with the construction process and learn the basics of design.
- In the fourth year, students undergo a second industrial internship where they continue to study the design of buildings and structures.
- In the fifth year, students undergo a pre-graduate internship at the factory where they receive all the necessary materials for a graduation project.
The Department of Architecture has signed a number of contracts with advanced architectural and construction organizations, such as:

- "Kupol" LLP, Shymkent city.
- "Atrium-AS" LLP, Shymkent city.
- "Tan-1" LLP, Shymkent city.
- "Sani" LLP, Shymkent city
- and etc.
