The publishing center of M.Auezov South-Kazakhstan State University was established on November 27, 2001 and is a structural subdivision of the university, directly subordinate to the Prorector on educational and methodological association.
11 qualified specialists in the field of polygraphy and computer technologies are the staff of the Publishing Center.
The center is equipped with modern printing equipment - multiplying devices RISO, XEROX, color multiplying complex, computers, folding, hot-melt, collating, paper-cutting machines, laminating machine, wire-stitching machines, electro booklet makers, electro staplers, gold presses machine.
The Publishing Center ensures the release of:
- departmental literature (educational and methodical literature, teaching aids, textbooks, etc.), interdepartmental materials (printed blanks, methodical guidelines, etc.);
- materials of scientific conferences, periodicals of scientific works of the University;
-achievement sheets, student's and reader's cards, identification documents.
The process of work of the production of educational and methodical literature, collections and programs of conferences, periodicals of scientific works of the University and other products includes copying from the original makeup page, folding, selection (arrangement) of books and collections, binding work (stitching, gluing-up the covers ).

The publishing center of the SKSU annually issues about 200-250 titles of textbooks, teaching aids, methodical instructions for all students in stiff and soft cover for students, candidates for master’s degree, teachers and specialists of the university, about 300,000 copies of blank sheets for the university departments, about 7,000 achievement sheets and 11-12 thousand student and reader's cards, identification documents.
