«CENTER FOR RESEARCH FOR KAZAKHSTAN» of M.Auezov South Kazakhstan State University at the Dalian university of foreign languages
In the framework of the « Center for research for Kazakhstan» teachers of M. Auezov South-Kazakhstan State University carried out lectures at the Dalian University of Foreign Languages (Dalian, China).
M.Auezov South Kazakhstan State University was active in the establishment and development of partnerships with Chinese universities. In the cooperation framework is joint research work in the field of exchange of students and teachers, and develop joint educational programs and projects in the field of education and culture. On the basis of cooperation agreement between M.Auezov South Kazakhstan State University and Dalian University of foreign languages 8 January of 2016, with the assistance of the Embassy of RP in PRC in Dalian University of foreign languages (DUFL, Dalian, northeastern Liaoning province of the PRC) has opened a "Center for research for Kazakhstan". On the basis of cooperation agreement, 3 teachers of M.Auezov South Kazakhstan State University was sent for scientific internship from 24 to 29 November 2016, during internship they familiarized with the structure of the University, met with colleagues in the field of studying of methods and technologies of education, communication experience of the foreign partner. In the framework of the «Center for research for Kazakhstan» with aim of informing about the history and modern life of Kazakhstan and exchange of experience, teachers of SKSU M.Auezov South Kazakhstan State university held lectures and seminars for students and teachers of Dalian University of foreign languages. Also, during the visit, teachers met with students from Kazakhstan who are currently enrolled in master's degree programs and doctoral PhD in Dalian University of foreign languages.
We will remind, " Center for research for Kazakhstan " at the Dalian University of foreign languages became the third after "Centers" at Shanghai University of foreign languages (opened November 16, 2015) and Beijing University of foreign languages (13 December 2015).

8 January of 2016, with the assistance of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in PRC and M.Auezov South-Kazakhstan State University (SKSU) in Dalian University of foreign languages (DUFL, Dalian, northeastern Liaoning province of the PRC) has opened a "Center for research for Kazakhstan". The official start of the work of the Centre was given by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the RK in the PRC Shakhrat Nuryshev, rector of M.Auezov SKSU Zhumakhan Myrkhalykov, rector of DUFL Liu Hong. |

"I think this evidence of the growing interest in China to our country, the Kazakh language and culture, the Kazakh model of tolerance and economic development (...). I am sure that the "Center for Research for Kazakhstan" created today will be an important platform for the strengthening of friendship, good-neighborliness and partnership between our two countries and their peoples. I wish the success of the Centre in the promotion of the Kazakh language, culture and history of Kazakhstan, the study of light and the important internal political and socio-economic events. The center will assist everyone in learning the Kazakh language, Kazakh literature and culture, as well as to inform students and teachers about the history and modern life of Kazakhstan and to contribute in expanding educational and scientific contacts between citizens and organizations of China and Kazakhstan. |

The aim and basic principles of the Center are:
- The development of teaching and study of language and culture of Kazakhstan;
- The study of Kazakh language and getting to know with the works of Kazakh literature and art;
- The study of history and national traditions in Kazakhstan;
- Promotion of exchanges and cooperation between institutions of the two countries in the fields of culture, education and science;
- Informing teachers and post-graduate students and students of "DUFL" about modern life and the history of Kazakhstan;
- The expansion of cultural, educational and scientific contacts between the citizens and organizations of China and Kazakhstan
