Education:

In 1970 graduated Kazakh Chemical and Technological Institute, speciality “Economy and organization of chemical industry”.

In 1975 defended the candidate’s dissertation at the Moscow Engineering and Economic Institute named after Sergo Ordzhonikidze.

In 2009 defended the doctoral dissertation at Institute of Economy of Committee of science of Ministry Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan on a subject “Formation and development of regional systems in the Republic of Kazakhstan: theory, methodology and mechanisms of regulation”.

Professional experience:

1970-1972 - Assistant of Economy Department of Kazakh Chemical and Technological Institute;

1972-1975 - Postgraduate student of Moscow Engineering and Economic Institute;

1975-1986 - Senior lecturer, Associate professor of Economy Department of Kazakh Chemical and Technological Institute,

1986-1995 - Head of Department “Economy”, then “Economic theory”;

1995-1998-Director Advisor, Head of department of JSC “Shymkentnefteorgsintez”;

1998-2002 - Dean of “Economy and Finance” faculty of MIRAS University; 2002-2009 - Vice Rector for Scientific work, Vice-president for science and development of MIRAS University;

2009 - 2014 - Director of Department of monitoring and quality management of   M. Auezov South Kazakhstan State University;

Since 2015 to present time – Rector’s Adviser on economic issues
