From May 29 to June 1, 2018 delegation from Kazakhstan as part of the Vice-Minister of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aimagambetova A.K., Vice-President of JSC "Center for International Programs" Torebekova Z.T. and representatives of leading Kazakhstan higher educational institutions are planned to visit the United States of America.

As part of the visit on May 30, 2018 in Philadelphia at the University of Pennsylvania was held the Kazakh-American forum of rectors of higher education. The forum was attended by more than 20 American representatives of education and 10 representatives from Kazakhstan. At the opening of the forum, the heads of the delegation from the Institute of International Education (USA) and the Ministry of education and science of the Republic of Kazakhstan made a welcoming speech, during which round tables and bilateral meetings in the B2B format were held, where a number of agreements and memorandums on cooperation in the field of education and science were signed. So in the forum with the official report on "Educational initiatives in the higher education system of Kazakhstan" from M. Auezov SKSU was presented by the acting vice-rector for Strategic development of Aimenov Zh. T., in his report Aimenov Zh. T. voiced the main directions of activities of the University and provided information on the implementation of strategic goals and objectives within the framework of state programs and projects on the example of M. Auezov SKSU.

We remind that the main task of the Forum is to develop and strengthen inter-University bilateral cooperation. The participants of the inter-University forum expect to create a stable platform for the development of partnerships, as well as establish long-term contracts for further international cooperation with the leaders of higher education in America, which occupy a strong position in the main academic rankings of education. In addition, the Kazakh delegation plans to participate in the international exhibition NAFSA (Association of international education workers), which is the most important event that annually gathers the key players of the world educational market. Also, representatives of Kazakhstan’s higher education institutions will take part in the summit of rectors and Vice-rectors, which is held within the framework of the exhibition NAFSA from 30 to 31 May 2018.
