Future Journalists Meet with Experienced Information Industry Professionals

Students on the 6B03220 “Journalism” program at M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University's Faculty of Philology met experienced professionals in the field of information. The event's guests were Doctor of Philology and Professor Ayagan Sandybay, and Doctor of Philology and Professor Kairat Sak, both made significant contributions to national journalism and philology.
The event aimed to introduce future journalists to industry professionals, giving them the opportunity to learn about their work experience and receive valuable advice.
Ayagan Oten shared his thoughts on the key principles of professional journalism, emphasising the importance of responsibility when working with information and the role of creative freedom. Kairat Omirbay, in turn, addressed issues of language culture, text structure and modern methods of analysis, clearly demonstrating how theory and practice can complement each other effectively.
The meeting was held in an open and engaging format, where students had the opportunity to ask questions and received insightful, example- based answers.
