At the World Boxing Championships in Liverpool, athletes from Kazakhstan secured a historic victory.   We are especially proud that students from South Kazakhstan University named after M. Auezov won two gold medals for the country!

Makhmud Sabyrkhan became the champion in the 55-kilogram weight category, while Torekhan Sabyrkhan secured victory in the 70-kilogram category, proving his excellence and being recognised as the best in the world.

Today, the Auezov University staff and students warmly welcomed their heroes, expressing great respect, national pride and inspiration.
