OPEN DIALOGUE IN "AMBASSADOR CAFÉ" FORMAT

Students of Auezov University had a rare opportunity to meet with Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the European Union and 17 EU Member States accredited to the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event took place as part of the EU ambassadors' working visit to the Mukhtar Auezov South Kazakhstan Research University.
As part of the Ambassador Café format, students had an informal dialogue with ambassadors from Austria, Croatia, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Estonia, Germany, Greece, Finland, Hungary, Latvia, Romania, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Poland and Portugal.
The distinguished guests spoke about the top educational institutions in their countries, while students asked questions about academic programmes, scientific collaboration, and the intricacies of diplomatic work.
Madina Abilkhaeva, a third-year student at the Higher School of Management and Business, and Ramazan Balabek, a second-year student of Foreign Languages at the Faculty of Philology, thanked the University leadership on behalf of their peers for the exceptional opportunity to interact directly with the EU ambassadors.
The students conducted open interviews in English and the meeting ended with a commemorative group photo.
