The cultural heritage of Kazakhstan has been enriched by another important work. The book "Herald of the Spirit of Alash - Seyilbek Usenov" by Seydehan Alibek, Doctor of Historical Sciences and Director of the College of the M. Auezov South Kazakhstan Research University, has been published.

 Based on archival documents, the author provides a detailed account of the life, public and political activities, and literary legacy of Seyilbek Usenov - a journalist, educator and outstanding figure of his time. Usenov dedicated his life to education and played a significant role in the development of Kazakh journalism, but, like many intellectuals of his time, he became a victim of Stalin's repressions.

The presentation of the book was held at the Pushkin Regional Scientific Library and brought together writers, scientists, journalists, historians, students and descendants of Seyilbek Usenov. The guests shared their memories, discussed his historical contributions and reflected on the significance of his legacy. 

The discussion was led by Mombek Abdakimuly, Chairman of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan in Shymkent. Gani Besbayev, Vice-Rector for Social and Educational Affairs of the University, also spoke at the event, emphasizing the importance of the book for the education of future generations. Scientists D. Kozhamzharova, G. Zhanisbekova, B. Isabek, K. Anarbai and G. Aldongarkyzy praised the scientific value of the book and wished the author further success.

Seydehan Alibek, a Doctor of Historical Sciences, has been the director of the college at M. Auezov University since 2018. He also chairs the Public Association of Historians and Political Scientists of South Kazakhstan, leads the working group of the Regional Commission on the Rehabilitation of Victims of Political Repressions in Shymkent, and is the author of numerous scientific articles.
