SCHOLARSHIPS OF THE LATVIAN REPUBLIC FOR CITIZENS OF KAZAKHSTAN

In accordance with the Agreement between the Ministries of Education and Science of the Republic of Latvia and the Republic of Kazakhstan on cooperation in the field of education, the Republic of Latvia offers scholarships for students and academic and research staff of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan for training or research in higher educational institutions and research institutions of Latvia in 2018- 2019 academic year, as well as to participate in summer schools.

A scholarship is provided:

for bachelors and masters - 500 euros per month.
for PhD students - 670 euros a month.
financial assistance is provided for the passage of summer schools in the amount of 711 euros per person.

Training programs in Latvia are paid, this scholarship can be used to cover the cost of tuition, accommodation and meals. The Fellow must independently cover transportation costs.

The deadline for applications for state scholarships for study and research in Latvia is April 1, 2018.

The deadline for applying for scholarships for summer schools in Latvia is May 4, 2018.
