Auezov University hosted an inspiring historical and educational evening titled “The Brave Son of the Six Alash—Turar Ryskulov,” marking the 130th anniversary of Turar Ryskulov's birth, a prominent statesman and public figure. The event was organized by the Faculties of Culture and Arts, Architecture, Construction, and Transport of the South Kazakhstan University named after M. Auezov.

The program included a theatrical performance that vividly portrayed the extraordinary life and contributions of Turar Ryskulov, who devoted himself to serving his people. In his opening remarks, Gani Besbayev, the university’s rector and board chairman, said:

— “It is our common responsibility to honor the memory of such a distinguished figure as Turar Ryskulov. Today, the entire nation marks the 130th anniversary of his birth, a momentous occasion for all of us. As the saying goes, ‘There can be no future without paying tribute to our ancestors.’ Let us preserve and celebrate the outstanding legacy of this remarkable man. Happy anniversary!”

The evening included inspiring talks by respected scholars. Ordaly Konyratbayev, a leading researcher at the Mukhtartan Studies Center and associate professor of history, and Yerzhan Pazylov, a senior lecturer in Kazakh history with a PhD, shared fascinating and meaningful insights with the students.

At the end of the event, Gani Abzelbekuly sincerely thanked the faculty and students who worked hard to make it a success, presenting them with letters of appreciation. The celebration ended on a high note with a lively and colorful concert by the students.
