Visit of the project team within the framework of the Erasmus+ project "ECONOMICS, ECOLOGY AND INFRASTRUCTURE ON HIGH-SPEED RAILWAYS" (EEIHSR) at M. Auezov South Kazakhstan university

From October 10 to 12, 2022, a delegation from European and Kazakhstan’s partner universities visited M. Auezov South Kazakhstan university within the framework of the Erasmus+ project "Economics, Ecology and Infrastructure of High-speed railways", the purpose of which was to hold project meetings with participants from M. Auezov South Kazakhstan university.

Within the framework of the reporting meetings, the participants of the project from SKU shared the results of the project and process of their implementation in the field of development and integration of new modules and the use of OPEN TRACK software by master students in practical classes within the module "High-speed railway rolling stock". During the visit, foreign lecturers from the Technical University of Dresden and the University of Economics in Katowice Prof. Jacek Szołtysek and Martin Sommer met with students and masters and held lectures on the European experience of high-speed railways and infrastructure. The second day of the program was devoted to visiting and getting acquainted with the partners of SKU among the enterprises in the field of railway tracks of the Southern region.

At the end of the meeting, the leading coordinator of the Technical University of Dresden, Shiyao Zhang, presented SKU participants with a certificate of successful participation and intensive training within the framework of the Erasmus + program of the "Economy, Ecology and Infrastructure of High-speed railways" project.

We recall that M.Auezov South Kazakhstan university is a participant in the project "Economics, Ecology and infrastructure of high-speed railways" within the framework of the Erasmus + program, which has been implemented at the Department "Transport, Organization of Transportation and Traffic" since 2018.

The project currently involves: Polytechnic University of Madrid, (Spain), University of Economics in Katowice, (Poland), Academy of Transport and Logistics, L.N.Gumilyov Eurasian National university (Kazakhstan), M. Auezov South Kazakhstan university (Kazakhstan).
