American students studying the Kazakh language at the Pre-University Training Center of the M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University visited the Turkestan Regional Museum of Local History and the Shymkent City Center of Customs and Traditions.

Foreign listeners with surprise and admiration examined the household items of the Kazakh people used centuries ago. They also listened with interest to our national customs and traditions and talked about their admiration and impressions of viewing various items of clothing, such as a camisole, saukele, ukili takiya and weapons used by batyrs.
