Our university continues events dedicated to the month of science and technology in the framework of the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Today, April 26, 2021, a meeting was held with the professor of the Department of Food Engineering, Cand.Chem.Sci., Urazbayeva Klara Abdyrazakhovna.
The scientist talked about her path to science, shared her thoughts and instructions with young students, undergraduates and doctoral students about motivation and characteristics in scientific activity.
The path to science came through the search for answers in everyday questions back in school years:
- Why does the dough rise during fermentation?
- Why did grandmother rinse the pan with cold water before boiling milk? etc.
Questions were found later in the formative years as a scientist, studying at the university and working at the Department “Food Production Technology”, now “Food Engineering”.
The professor said that the modern concept of healthy eating is based on a scientifically based approach to improving the composition, properties and technologies of food products.
As a guide to young researchers, Klara Abdyrazakhovna noted that the main IDEA and EXPECTED RESULT in science are from the solution of the idea! It means WHAT, HOW, WHO and WHY OUR PRODUCT is needed! It is ALWAYS necessary to find answers to these questions.
