26.04.2019 year the Department "criminal law, Criminal process and criminalistics" faculty of KazNU. Al-Farabi, together with the Center for research on combating crime, held an annual Republican contest "Krim-Ex 2019" among students of universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, near and far abroad. The competition was held in the team and individual competition. There were 12 teams from different universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The competition was held in 5 stages, participated 4th year students from the faculty of "Law and international relations" specialty "5B030100-Law". Team called "Verum 1", in the composition of the team were 4 stakeholder. Bokaeva Petimat Saidaahiyatova, Ayan Dair Sultanbekuli, Sarsenbayev Bectur Ulubekuli and Tsoy Vladimir Viktorovich. Head of senior prepodvatel of the chair "criminal procedure and criminalistics" -Baitfnova Ainur Serikovna. The team took 3rd place and Bakaeva Petimat Seidahmatova was awarded a special diploma for «Resourcefulness».
