The university has successfully implemented measures to introduce mass open online courses on the Open Edx platform. To improve the qualifications of the faculty on organizing mass open online courses (MOOC) and introducing the results into the educational process, from February 18-01 to March 3, 2019, the advanced training department of scientific and pedagogical personnel together with the Institute of Distance Learning organized advanced training courses “Massive Open -courses". The ultimate goal of this course is to improve teachers' knowledge of modern educational processes, improve the ranking of universities and increase competitiveness in the education market.

Lecturers of the course are Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Institute of Distance Learning Dosybekov S.К., Software Engineers of the Center for Electronic Learning Methods Shaydulina AA, Keldibayeva MS held theoretical and practical courses and master classes on the organization of filming, video editing, the development of the course structure and the creation of a separate prototype for each participant.
