Information Session on Migration Legislation at Auezov University

M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University held an information session for international students on the key migration legislation aspects of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The event was attended by Deputy Head of the Migration Service Department, Police Colonel N. Sembaev; Senior Inspector for Special Assignments of the Migration Service Department, Police Lieutenant Colonel M. Medetbekov; and Head of the Migration Service Division of the Al-Farabi District Police Department, Police Lieutenant Colonel E. Saparbaev. The speakers focused on important issues related to the rules of stay for foreign students in Kazakhstan.
Students were briefed on the main aspects of Kazakhstan’s migration legislation, the process for extending student visas and the requirements for temporary registration. They were also informed of their rights and responsibilities as foreign nationals. The session also addressed preventative measures against online fraud and warned against the dangers of distributing drugs through social media.
