Purpose of the EP

 

Training of specialists in demand in the labor market who are able to carry out design, installation, maintenance work of automated control systems, who own specialized technical and software automation tools.

Learning outcomes

LO1  Communicate freely in the professional environment and society in Kazakh, Russian and English with an understanding of the principles and culture of academic integrity.

LO2  Demonstrate natural science, mathematical, social, socio-economic and engineering knowledge in professional activities, using the methods of mathematical data processing, scientific and experimental research, regulatory documents and elements of economic analysis.

LO3  Possess information and computational literacy, the ability to generalize, analyze and perceive information, set goals and choose ways to achieve it, carrying out the organization, control and coordination of operational and team activities of the enterprise, in case of a complex task, its implementation or providing advice on its implementation

LO4  To make an informed choice of measuring, control and management tools for the development of information-measuring and automated control systems based on knowledge of electronics,, as well as the operation and repair of automation equipment, microelectronic technology, structural diagrams and principles of operation of automation elements and devices, to possess the skills of operation and repair of automation equipment.

LO5  Develop optimal, reliable automation and control systems based on the use of database management systems and expert systems, knowing the methods of modeling and identifying control objects.

LO6  Draw up control loops and calculate the optimal settings of regulators, ensure control over the smooth operation and the required level of accuracy of measuring equipment and automation, using the basics of automatic control theory.

LO7  To develop and analyze systems for collecting, converting and transmitting signals - information carriers in control systems based on knowledge of the laws and methods of the applied information theory.

LO8  Develop control programs of industrial controllers for the logical control of various technological equipment and evaluate their effectiveness by comparing with existing analogues.

LO9  Classify the systems of automatic regulation and control of typical technological processes and production, make an informed choice for a specific situation.

LO10  Apply specialized computer-aided design systems in the development of technical specifications and design documentation for automation and control systems.

LO11  Use research, entrepreneurial, and uncertainty skills.

LO12  Effectively work individually and as a member of a team, correctly defend your point of view, adjust your actions and use various ethods.
