Purpose of the EP

 

The purpose of the educational program is to train highly qualified specialists and computer science engineers who are capable of successful independent and team professional activities in the field of software engineering.

The scope of professional activity is research centers, government bodies, educational institutions and organizations of various forms of ownership, using mathematical methods and computer technology to solve professional problems.

Learningoutcomes

LO1. Communicate freely in a professional environment and society in Kazakh, Russian and English, with an understanding of the principles and culture of academic honesty.

LO2. Demonstrate natural science, mathematics, social, socio-economic and engineering knowledge in professional activities, methods of mathematical data processing, science and experimental research, regulatory documents and elements of economic analysis.

LO3. Work with information: find, evaluate and use information of various sources necessary for solving scientific and professional problems (including on the basis of a systematic apache) and competently solve professional problems in the field of information technology management and software engineering using modern information and communication technologies.

LO4. Identify information resources that are subject to protection, threats to information security and possible ways to implement them based on the analysis of the structure and content of information processes and features of the functioning of the object of protection.

LO5. Apply to solving applied and practical problems, creating programs in a good style, as well as evaluate the complexity of algorithms, program, evaluate the accuracy of the results obtained and test programs using analysis tools, development environment(s) for creating and debugging applications, modern compiler environments for solving various problems.

LO6. Conduct research and project activities, including analysis of problems, setting goals and objectives, identifying the object and subject of research, choosing the method and methods of research, as well as perform work on the development, installation, configuration and maintenance of software engineering, cryptographic and technical means of information protection.

LO7. Apply the capabilities of application software packages for solving computational mathematics problems; understand, impve and apply modern mathematical apparatus, use basic knowledge of natural Sciences, mathematics and computer science, basic facts, concepts, and principles of theories related to applied mathematics and computer science.

LO8. Out marketing research and participate in the creation of projects that increase the efficiency of using information technologies; ability to conduct a pre-feasibility study of project calculations. 

LO9. Formulate and practically solve problems in the field of computer science, use information technologies in the field of professional activity, teach in secondary specialized educational institutions, successfully carry out research and production activities.

LO10. Programming the bot's movement, connect and program the bot's response to sensors; develop software in one of the high-level programming languages. 

LO11. Use research, entrepreneurial skills, and skills to work in an environment of uncertainty.

LO12. Effectively work individually and as a team member, correctly defend your point of view, correct your actions and use various methods.
