The field of professional activity is the field of linguistics and philological education

Learning outcomes

LO 1 To communicate freely in a professional environment and society in Kazakh, Russian and English languages, taking into account the principles of academic writing and a culture of academic honesty.

LO 2 To demonstrate socio-cultural, professional development, based on the formation of ideological, civic, spiritual and social responsibility, academic honesty and decency, methods of scientific and experimental research.

LO 3 To possess information and computational literacy, the ability to generalize, analyze and perceive information, set goals and choose ways to achieve it in the study of linguistics.

LO 4 To analyze innovations in modern research in the field of the theory of linguistics and linguodidactics by comparing the main theories and concepts in new areas of linguistics;

LO 5 To analyze critically the theory of literature of the target language country, distinguishing between the main periods, trends, schools, its representatives in the history of literature of the target language country.

LO 6 To create texts of various types in the target language, as well as perform various types of editorial work with foreign texts: proofreading, editing, commenting, summarizing, information and dictionary description, bibliographic search.

LO 7 To create social and scientific projects that contribute to the development of the target language;

LO 8 To сarry out philological analysis of texts of varying degrees of complexity, interpreting texts of different types and genres based on existing methods.

LO 9 To implement the educational pedagogical process, taking into account the requirements for the organization of the educational process and on the basis of objective patterns of mastering a foreign language being taught.

LO 10 To apply in speech the norms of the literary language, basic methods and techniques of various types of oral and written communication in the target language (according to the norms of the common European framework of reference C1).

LO 11 To use research, entrepreneurial skills and skills in the face of uncertainty.

LO 12 To work effectively individually and as a member of a team, correctly defend your point of view, correct actions and use various methods.
