Purpose of the EP

trining of masters of Philology with key and professional competencies in the field of linguistics and literary studies, philological education, translation and editorial work, to solve professional problems in scientific, practical, educational and social spheres.

Learning outcomes

LО 1. sets and solves tasks in the field of his professional competence, taking into account global and national trends in the development of science and education;

LО 3. shows information culture, speaks a foreign language in scientific and professional activities in the conditions of trilingualism and intercultural communication;

LО 4. comprehends philosophical and methodological problems of linguistics and literary studies, carries out linguistic, literary, functional and discursive analysis of the text, including the media text;

LО 5. Knaws the basics of scientific analysis and forecasting of various phenomena and processes, conducts linguistic experiments and project work in the field of philological research, showing the ability to generate new ideas;

LО 6. applies a creative approach to scientific and pedagogical activity, analytical methods of research and teaching of the Russian language and literature;

LО 7. effectively uses modern digital technologies in the field of research and teaching of the Russian language and literature, translation and editing;

LО 8.  possesses theoretical knowledge and practical skills of editing and creating a newspaper text or speech, culture of thinking, speech technique, rules of stylistics and editing of various types of media texts;

LО 9. he is proficient in the technique of high-quality translation, taking into account the nature of the translated text, as well as the methodology of translation analysis, which contributes to the accurate perception of the original utterance.
