In the 2022-2023 academic year, at the traditional Spartakiad of teachers and staff under the program "Healthcare" and "Rukhani Zhangyru" of M. The Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan has completed 2 research projects on grant financing of scientific or scientific and technical works for 2018-2020.

Deadlines for the implementation of scientific projects a plan has been drawn up for 2018-2020 and executed in accordance with the calendar plan. Due to the expiration of the project deadlines, based on the results of the fully completed work, a final report for 3 years was compiled and submitted to the NC NTA and highly appreciated by experts.

In addition, the head of the department, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Kopzhasarov Bahadyr Tastanbekovich was awarded the gold medal named after A. Baitursynov for his great contribution to the development of the country's higher education system and great work in training new generation specialists.

The number of scientific articles of the Department of "Technologies of building materials, products and structures" in 2020-2021 - 70, articles of Impact factor - 5 and SCOPUS - 10 (2018-2021), collections of articles in scientific journals of the Higher Attestation Commission - 5, at conferences - 30, including at international conferences of the Republic of Kazakhstan - 10, republican - 17 , regional conferences-43 published.

In 2020, Associate professor of the Department Rysdaulet Rayymberdy Amanovich took part and became the winner of the competition "The best university teacher", announced by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Educational Research and Production Complex (UNPC) of the university's classrooms are equipped with modern technical training facilities, devices, simulators and equipment. There is an auditorium for 20 students and a specialized laboratory for the study of building materials. In the company's laboratory, equipped with a full set of equipment and currently covering 100% of cement tests for physico-mechanical and chemical parameters. In addition, it is equipped with devices for checking the quality of sand, Seagull, rebar and other building materials.

Educational, production and laboratory centers have been created on the basis of "Justalcon" LLP, LLP, which are currently fully functioning. Training and laboratory classes in special disciplines are held in the designated areas. There is a bilateral agreement between the institution and the university.

Experiments concluded in accordance with the terms of the preliminary contract of the department are held in advanced institutions of capital construction, scientific research, design. In accordance with the request documents of some institutions, practical training in other institutions is also carried out with the consent of the training administration. The practice is carried out in accordance with the educational order of M. Auezov. The main practice bases are located in the city of Shymkent.
