NEWS CENTER OF PRE-UNIVERSITY TRAINING

Groups of students of the pre-university training Center at the M. Auezov SKSU visited the Turkestan Regional Museum of Local History. The event was led by senior curator of the preparatory center Asan Usipov. Listeners were amazed to see valuable relics of the historical past. In particular, Ikhira Kazuya, who came from Japan to study the Kazakh language, expressed his thoughts about admiration at the sight of historical exhibits reflecting the lifestyle and culture of the Kazakh language.

And the next day, on November 9, the students of the Pre–University Training Center went to another museum in Shymkent - the museum of victims of political repression. Abdikali Birzhan, the museum's guide, told about various facts and revealed the museum's theme. After watching a film specially shot about the Holodomor, the audience admitted that they began to understand a little more the horrors of our bloody history.
