Within the framework of international cooperation, on November 13, 2017, the delegation headed by Mr. Kim Desik - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea in the Republic of Kazakhstan visited  M.Auezov South Kazakhstan State University.

Within the framework of the visit, at the conference hall of the SKSU hold a meeting with students of the University where Mr. Kim Desik Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea in Kazakhstan delivered a lecture on theme “The history and culture of Korea, as well as the present situation of the Korean demi-island”. At the meeting it was discussed the opportunities of studding in Korea, and Mr. Ambassador shared his work experience and the results of Kazakh-Korean cooperation in the field of education and science.

During the visit, the Korean delegation met with the rector of the M.Auezov SKSU Myrhalykov Zhumakhan Ushkempirovich, where the parties discussed the opportunities and prospects of opening the Korean educational center on the basis of M.Auezov SKSU, whose goal is to organize language courses on studying Korean language and acquaintance with Korean culture and traditions for everyone who has interesting.
