II Central Asia Nobel Fest

    On April 7, 2021, the official opening of the II Central Asia Nobel Fest, entitled “Inventing the Future”, took place. The festival is the main and largest scientific event in Central Asia. The theme of the second festival is focused on technology and innovation in three key areas: the economy of opportunities, the industry of the future and EdTrends (educational trends). The organizer of the Nobel Festival is the Inclusive Development Foundation and Auezov University.

   This year, the university acts as a strategic partner of the festival and, at the same time, holds a series of its scientific events within the framework of the festival, including the annual conference “Auezov Readings - 19: 30 Years of Independence of Kazakhstan”.

    It is SIGNIFICANT that such a large-scale event - the NOBEL FESTIVAL is held in the month of science and technology in the framework of the celebration of the 30^th anniversary of Independence of Kazakhstan and on the eve of the Day of Science Workers of Kazakhstan.

   Within the framework of the Festival, the University takes part in the opening and three sessions, where university scientists are speakers and moderators.

   The main result of our cooperation is the creation of a knowledge base in Kazakhstan and the formation of a regular scientific event for the whole of Central Asia with the participation of world scientists.

   For the first time, within the framework of the Festival in Central Asia, on the basis of universities, 15 online lectures of the laureates of the Nobel Prizes and the International Breakthrough Prize will be held, where students and teaching staff will take part.

It is planned that in the fall of this year - the next festival of Nobel laureates will be held in Shymkent within the Great Silk Road.
