The department of advanced training of scientific and pedagogical personnel organized refresher courses on the topic “Distance education: the school of tutors” on December 19-29, 2018 at the Institute of Distance Education. The student’s student contingent consists of faculty members and staff of the University Representations in Aktau and Karaganda.

The main task of refresher courses is to assist teachers in the formation of a new professional role, in mastering their tutor support technologies and introducing these technologies into practice. The tasks of a tutor are to help get the most out of your studies; track and adjust the individual trainee's route; jointly evaluate completed training modules; hold group discussions of the results; Maintain interest in learning throughout the course. The main task of the tutor is to activate the learning process. The main components of the tutor technology are “the organization of conditions for the formation of the students' individual educational program and its support”.
