As part of the Year of Working Professions declared by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Kazakhstan is actively carrying out large-scale initiatives aimed at elevating the status of working people and promoting respect for labour professions.
M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University holds its staff in the highest regard for their dedication and hard work. On this Labor Day, the university hosted a special celebration to express heartfelt appreciation to those whose daily efforts often remain unseen but are vital to the institution’s life.

These acknowledgements were a genuine recognition of the workers’ commitment, diligence and integrity.
In his congratulatory speech, Vice-Rector for Social and Educational Work Gani Besbayev warmly addressed the awardees, noting that the responsibility and conscientiousness of every individual is essential to the university’s future success.
The formal ceremony was followed by a lively concert programme. Students from the Faculty of Culture and Arts delighted the audience with heartfelt musical and dance performances. The evening, organised by the University Youth Centre, ended with an atmosphere of joy, gratitude and deep respect for the people whose everyday contributions make the university thrive.
