The task of the department:
- coordination of the processes of accreditation and post-accreditation monitoring of educational programs and the university, focusing onensuring the quality of educational services, in the agencies included in the register of recognized accreditation bodies.
Functions of the department:
- providing faculties (higher schools) and structural divisions with information and methodological materials on issues of institutional and specialized accreditation aimed at assessing the quality of educational services;
- organizing and conducting seminars on accreditation and re-accreditation for faculty, university staff and students;
- gathering, processing and analysis of information on the university and educational programs;
- analysis of self-assessment materials provided by faculties (higher schools), departments and working groups for the accredited / re-accredited program and the university;
- organization and coordination of work with students within the framework of institutional and specialized accreditation procedures (information, feedback, preparation for interviews with external experts);
- organization of external audit for institutional and specialized accreditation/reaccreditation;
- organization of post-accreditation monitoring of the university and educational programs;
- control for the implementation of regulatory documents on the profile of the department.

Academic staff are key participants in the Internal Quality Assurance System. Their professional activities, involvement in the development and delivery of degree programmes, and contribution to self-assessment processes directly influence the outcomes of institutional and programme accreditation.
“Employers”
Employers are key external stakeholders of the Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS). Their involvement ensures alignment of degree programmes with labor market needs and professional standards.
“Students”
Students are key stakeholders in the Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS). Their feedback is taken into account when evaluating degree programmes, learning conditions, teaching methods, and academic support. Student involvement complies with the European Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ESG).
“Alumni”
Alumni are key external stakeholders of the Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS). Their professional experience and feedback provide valuable insights into the practical relevance of degree programmes and their alignment with labor market requirements.
