A round table discussion on “The Constitutional Referendum in Kazakhstan: A New Stage of Political Reforms” was held at M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University to explain the significance of the constitutional reforms. The event was organized by the Faculty of Law, the Faculty of History and Pedagogy, and the Higher School of Management and Business, and was attended by faculty members and students.
Marat Seidakhmetov, the Dean of the Higher School of Management and Business, delivered the opening remarks, emphasising the importance of the new constitution for the country's democratic development and the future of the younger generation.
Gulshat Rakhmetova, Candidate of Legal Sciences and Professor of the Department of Civil Law and Civil Procedure, provided a detailed explanation of the amendments and additions introduced to the Constitution, clarifying their legal significance.
Professor Altyn Yesirkepova, Doctor of Economic Sciences and Head of the Department of Economics, spoke about the impact of constitutional reforms on socio-economic development. Kurmangali Urazbayev, the Dean of the Faculty of History and Pedagogy, highlighted the historical significance of political reforms and their role in society.
