A Meeting with Graduates of Auezov University Who Lead Educational Institutions

On January 22, 2026, a round table discussion entitled “M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University as a Space of Opportunities and Success” was held at M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University, organized by the Department of Russian Language and Literature.
The event brought together university faculty members and successful alumni who currently hold leadership positions within the education system.
The opening remarks were delivered by Ernar Imangalievich Imangaliev, Member of the Board and Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs; Taslima Serikovna Aubakirova, Director of the Center for Employment and Competence Development; and Nurgali Sabitovich Uteuliyev, Deputy Director of the Career Guidance Center. In their speeches, they emphasized the importance of strengthening ties between the university and its graduates, as well as the graduates’ contribution to the development of the modern educational environment.
The distinguished guests of the round table were alumni of the university who are currently principals of secondary schools in the city of Shymkent: Almashodzha Serikovich Kaiypov (Gymnasium School №65 named after Y. Altynsarin), Shakizat Teshebaevna Tursynbayeva (School №112 named after B. Sadykov), Kasymkhan Almashanovich Turekhanov (School №132), Indira Meirzhanovna Dauletbayeva (School №105), Elmira Bakytkyzy Kantayeva (School №137), Aikumis Akhmetovna Karibayeva (School №140), Zilola Mirabdivakhabovna Yuldasheva (School №139), Aina Ablayevna Sarymsakova (Lyceum School №41 named after A. Makarenko), and Aueskhan Savralyuly Maulenov (School №101 named after Ali Akbayev).
Within the thematic block “Success Story,” the alumni shared their professional journeys and managerial experience, highlighting the role of the university and its faculty in shaping their careers. Particular attention was paid to issues of managerial decision-making, organization of teaching staff, implementation of educational innovations, development of inclusive education, ensuring equal opportunities for all learners, and the responsibility of school leaders in contemporary conditions.
The speakers emphasized that today’s school teacher plays a crucial role not only in knowledge transmission but also in developing 21st-century competencies and motivating students to learn. Practical recommendations were also offered regarding professional development, mentorship, and experience exchange between schools and the university.
The round table was organized by S. E. Kaldygozova, PhD in Pedagogy, Associate Professor and Head of the Department, together with senior lecturers of the Department of Russian Language and Literature: G.A. Aliyeva, F.A. Bakhtibayeva, A.S. Kerimzhanova, G.N. Issabayeva, A.A. Pirimkulova, R.K. Beknazarova, K. B. Samatayeva, M.K. Rysbayeva, R. E. Ermetova, A.E. Seraliyeva, Zh.T. Kysmuratrova, N. A. Adyrbekova, and G.A. Aitpenbetova.
The event was held in the format of an open and meaningful dialogue, once again confirming the importance of cooperation between the university, its alumni, and the professional community, as well as the strengthening of departmental traditions in training future leaders of education.
