- Hits: 31
From December 2 to 5, 2025, a delegation of M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University led by Chairman of the Board – Rector D. Akhmed-Zaki carried out a working visit to Beijing and Shanghai. The purpose of the trip was to explore China’s advanced approaches in artificial intelligence, digital transformation of education, research, and modern models of university management.
The program included meetings and study visits to Peking University, Tsinghua University, Lenovo Headquarters, Beijing Future Center, Unitree Robotics, East China Normal University, Zhangjiang Robot Valley, and FUDAN University. Chinese partners presented integrated solutions that are already reshaping contemporary education: adaptive learning platforms, intelligent assessment systems, campus digital twins, high-performance computing clusters, VR simulators, and industrial AI tools designed for universities.
A special focus was placed on the integration of AI with robotics and applied research. At Unitree Robotics and Zhangjiang Robot Valley, the delegation was introduced to technologies shaping the future market — mobile and industrial robots, autonomous navigation systems, and solutions for medical and service robotics.
FUDAN University showcased world-class laboratories in chemistry, materials science, and biomedical technologies, as well as examples of machine-learning applications in chemical process analysis and experimental data processing.
Following the visit, the university gained important reference points for the further modernization of academic programs, expansion of research directions, and implementation of digital technologies. New agreements reached during the trip will strengthen international cooperation, launch fresh academic initiatives, and broaden opportunities for students and faculty.
M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University will continue to develop strong partnerships with countries at the forefront of technological reform and to reinforce its position as one of the most dynamic universities in Central Asia.
