PurposeoftheEP

 

Training of competitive, competent masters of pedagogical Sciences of pedagogical direction, who are able to use in their professional activities the knowledge, skills and abilities obtained in the educational process in mathematics and computer science to solve pedagogical problems at all levels of education through information and communication technologies.

Learningoutcomes

LО1 Communicate within the framework of the established specialized terminology in the field of STEM technologies, for the implementation of joint work in the educational, scientific, professional and socio-cultural spheres of communication.

LО2 Effectively use of psychological and pedagogical technologies in their professional activities for the purpose of training, development and education of students, including students with special educational needs.

LО3 Be able to track and analyze the state of STEM education. Understand the essence and content of the concept of STEM education in informatics, be able to choose the forms, methods and means of teaching in accordance with the goals of STEM education in informatics.

LО4 Integrate and apply research skills using STEM elements for computer science in teaching, learning materials and assessment, demonstrating skills in statistical and big data analysis, information selection and transformation. Apply in practice interdisciplinary communications based on STEM. Apply STEM learning to integrate innovative learning technologies.

LО5  Manage projects at all stages using digital technologies and resources, logical, systematic and sequential approaches to problem solving based on critical thinking, identify and evaluate tools for delivering STEM education for the sciences. Apply programming skills when solving a problem in the field of high technologies at the intersection of mathematics, physics and technology

LО6 Plan and conduct research together with colleagues to improve educational practice in the field of natural and pedagogical sciences with the implementation of research results in practical pedagogical activities, use new digital educational resources, apply the STEM approach when developing curricula for online platforms.

LО7 Apply modern IT applications (virtual and augmented reality) in the development of projects. Use information technologies and innovative teaching methods in modern educational activities.

LО8 Know the methods of using robotics in various fields of activity, have skills and abilities in programming and designing microrobots, work with software and technical methods for creating robots.
