Purpose of the EP

 

Preparation of highly qualified, competitive masters with conceptual knowledge in the field of experimental and applied physics, able to choose methods and means of solving the task, carrying out scientific activities.

Learningoutcomes

Graduates of the educational program are characterized by the following abilities:

LO1 Applies and carries out complex research, including interdisciplinary research, using knowledge in the field of history and philosophy of science, as well as physics.

LO2 Assess trends in various areas of interpersonal, social and professional communication, applying knowledge of the socio-cultural development of the individual, demonstrating an intellectual, civic and moral position.

LO3 Applies psychological analysis, solves organizational problems and the quality of the leader’s implementation of his managerial functions.

LO4 Carries out teaching activities at a professional level, using innovative and digital technologies, interactive teaching methods and the experience of foreign scientists, as well as using the results of modern research in the field of experimental and applied physics.

LO5 Determine the structure, composition and physical properties of metals and alloys, surfaces and thin films using experimental methods of condensed matter physics.

LO6 Independently set specific problems for scientific research in the field of physics, solving them using physical research methods and digital technologies using domestic and foreign experience.

LO7 Applies methods for obtaining and converting energy from alternative sources into electrical energy, using the experience of foreign scientists, determining the parameters of installations that convert energy from alternative sources into electrical energy.

LO8 Uses modern instrumental methods to diagnose the properties of materials and products made from them.

LO9 Knows methods of structural analysis to determine the properties, characteristics and parameters of materials, taking into account the capabilities of various methods.

LO10 Demonstrates skills in performing independent scientific research in the field of physical foundations of materials science, analyzing current trends in its development
